Sunderland are ready to outbid rivals for Celtic striker Gary Hooper.

The Daily Mail says Hooper, 25, is rated at £7million by Celtic but has only one year left on his contract. Norwich City are expected to revive their interest while Hull and Southampton are also among his admirers.

Those clubs would be looking to offer around £4.5million for Hooper but Sunderland can also offer better wages.
