Sunderland are chasing Birmingham City winger Sebastian Larsson.
The Swede is off contract in June and saw a winter market move to Sunderland blocked earlier this season.
The People says SunderlandSteve Bruce is confident he will sign Larsson when he becomes available.
Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are also monitoring developments.
