Sunderland coach Ball eager for kids to make most of Peace Cup chance

Sunderland reserves boss Kevin Ball is delighted their youngsters will get a chance in the Peace Cup.

Ryan Noble struck against Groningen on the weekend.

"Whether or not they get time on the pitch or not, the experience of going to Korea with the first team will benefit them hugely," legendary ex-Black Cats skipper Ball told the Sunday Sun.

"It builds aspirations and it will show them that if that's where they want to be - the first-team squad - they have to work hard to do it.

"Not just in terms of workrate, but also on the technical side and the development side - the whole package.

"The experience they will get from going out there with the first team in terms of seeing how it is run, and the standards they will have to reach, is absolutely unbelievable."
