Sunderland are closing in on a loan deal for Trabzonspor striker Dame N'Doye, according to Sky Sports.

The report claims that the former Hull City striker is expected at Wearside for a medical, ahead of a proposed move on loan until the end of the season.

The Turkish side signed the 30-year-old from Hull in a £2.2million deal in the summer but he has failed to find the net in 12 league appearances this campaign.
