Sunderland are reviving talks for Manchester City defender Tal Ben Haim.
The Northern Echo says discussions between the Israeli centre-back's representatives and chairman Niall Quinn have left Ben-Haim on the verge of a loan move until the end of the season.
And the 26-year-old, who has struggled to become a regular at Manchester City since a £6m move from Chelsea in the summer, is expected to travel up to the North-East today to finalise the deal.
