Sunderland are chasing Swansea City duo Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis.
The Daily Star says the Black Cats tried to sign Ayew in January only to be knocked back but will try again for the Ghanaian this summer.
And manager Sam Allardyce is also keen on Gomis to bolster Sunderland's attack.
Allardyce is hoping to have a transfer budget of around £30m and is willing to spend around half of it on the Swans duo.
