Sunderland chasing Al Hilal defender Kader Mangane

Sunderland are chasing Al Hilal defender Kader Mangane.

The Daily Mail says Mangane, who has six caps for Senegal, left French club Rennes last summer to join the Saudi Arabian outfit Al Hilal.

They have rejected an initial bid from Sunderland for the 6' 5" former Senegal international, who has been a target for West Ham and Arsenal.

Al Hilal president Prince Abdulrahman said: "Today we received the official bid from Sunderland for Mangane, we will look into the offer and consider our position and we may see the player leave Al-Hilal this month."
