Sunderland are back in for ENPPI wing-back Ahmed Al-Muhammadi.
West Brom are in loan talks for the Egypt international, who has been a long-term target for Sunderland boss Steve Bruce.
The Baggies' talks has reignited Bruce's interest, with Sunderland making contact with ENPPI also about a loan deal.
Cairo sources say Al-Muhammadi will fly to England this week for transfer talks.
