Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn is treating his return to Arsenal this weekend as a fact-finding mission.
"Arsenal are doing something good and it's a pleasure to go down there. But that doesn't mean that we (the team) sit there and admire them.
"It's going to be a tough task, but it's what we've been aiming for. Arsenal are in dazzling form, but it's a great challenge for the players to stick their chests out and perform on a great stage.
"We're hoping to come away with people saying that we're worthy of our place in the Premier League."
