Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn has called on fans to fill the Stadium of Light.
Attendances at the Stadium of Light have been down on last year, with just 41,709 witnessing Saturday's goalless draw against Manchester United, a fixture which in the past would have guaranteed a 48,000 sell-out.
"To continue making progress, we need more people here,'' said Quinn, speaking ahead of the launch of a 10-game ticket to cover the second half of the season.
"We have made a decent start, look like we are beginning to get to grips with our away form, have a good home record and have invested significantly in the team.
"Who knows where all this may lead to, but the simple fact is that the more people we have with us, the stronger we are.
"I recognise there are those who would like to come but can't for financial reasons. But to those who are still wavering about whether to commit to coming every time, I urge you to do so."
