The FA have warned James McClean over his future conduct following an incident at The Hawthorns on the weekend.
The West Bromwich Albion midfielder was seen inciting the travelling Sunderland fans by pumping his fists in their direction after he had helped the Baggies to a 1-0 over his old club.
26-year-old Northern Ireland-born Republic of Ireland international McClean has been given a formal warning by the FA and both clubs have been reminded of their responsibilities.
McClean left the Black Cats in 2013 but not before claiming the Wearside club had 'hung him out to dry' after he failed to wear a poppy on Remembrance Day in 2012.
