Sunderland are close to securing three new Bosman signings.

Black Cats boss Paolo di Canio has already overseen the capture of young striker Duncan Watmore from Altrincham.

The Journal says the club are in advanced negotiations with Valentin Roberge of Maritimo, FC Basel's Cabral and Le Havre youngster El-Hadji Ba - and there will be more to come as Sunderland's new recruiting team look to make the most of their contacts.
