Sunderland are on the brink of landing Estudiantes fullback Marcos Angeleri.
Manchester City have expressed interest in Angeleri, however itasportpress.it says Sunderland are a step away from clinching a deal for the Argentine.
Sunderland are finalising terms over a £4 million deal for Angeleri, who came close to joining Lazio in 2009 only for serious injury to scupper the deal.
