Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia is set to recall Craig Gordon for today's crunch game against Manchester City.

The News of the World says Gordon will be handed his chance to arrest the slide. He was out with an ankle injury and then failed to regain his starting role despite starring in an FA Cup defeat at Blackburn.

But Sbragia will turn to the Scotland international after watching back-up Marton Fulop leak five goals in his last three games.
