Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia has questioned the transfer tactics of Tottenham Hotspur following their enquiry regarding striker Kenwyne Jones.
Sbragia confirmed that Harry Redknapp was interested in the Trinidad and Tobago star but was unhappy about the way they went about it.
"They (Tottenham) have enquired about him but it's the methods they use which is disappointing," he told SAFC TV.
"A lot has appeared in the papers but the main concern is that it does not get into the player's head and that his performances for us don't dip.
"Tottenham seem to be in for everybody and they make sure it goes in the papers. That's wrong.
"We show interest in players but what I don't do is put it in the papers. Spurs do what Spurs do but it's not the way to do business. I would never leak anything out. It's not right."
