Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia hit back at Arsene Wenger after clashing with the Arsenal manager at the end of Saturday's 0-0 draw.

"He said something like, 'You should come here and play football' and that's difficult to take from our point of view because it's unnecessary," claimed Sunderland's agitated yet justified manager.

"We're fighting for points, we don't want to lie down, lose 5-0 and say we played excellent football. I wouldn't want that and I don't think I would be in a job too long if that happened."
