Former England coach Steve McClaren is rumoured a potential candidate to replace Ricky Sbragia as manager of Sunderland. McClaren is currently in charge of Dutch side FC Twente.

The ex-Middlesbrough chief is currently half-way through a two-year contract with Twente, who will be keen for him to stay after he led them to the Dutch cup final and an impressive league position.
