Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia admits he has little experience in signing players.

"It's an area I haven't got a great amount of experience in. I'd need to know everything about the player. I would never take a gamble to buy somebody for a lot of money and not know his background," conceded Sbragia as he seeks to boost his Sunderland squad this month.
