Sunderland boss praises Gordon for handling axing

Sunderland boss Roy Keane is delighted with the way Craig Gordon has bounced back after being dropped earlier this season.

Gordon, 25, was dropped for three games by Keano after shipping SEVEN goals at Everton in November.

But the Scot has since justified his £9million transfer.

Keane said: "You have to go through pain. Sometimes you have to lose to win and we have all experienced that at this club this season.

"I watch him in training and he is outstanding. He will be a top keeper, one of the best in the world, no doubt about that."
