Sunderland boss Gus Poyet wishes he could pull on his boots for the weekend's derby against Newcastle United.
Sunderland's new boss is preparing for his home debut this weekend, and could not have picked a tougher fixture than a Wear-Tyne derby against Newcastle United.
"These are the only games I miss," said the former Chelsea and Spurs player.
"I don't miss any other games apart from the big ones, and this is massive.
"The derby games are the ones that, when you are the outside, you really want to be on the pitch doing something to affect the game."
