Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has warned Lee Cattermole he risks blowing his career.

Cattermole was shown the eighth red card of his career in the defeat at Hull at the start of the month and has lost his place to Ki Sung-Yueng.

Poyet said: "When someone does something really stupid and it's repetitive, he doesn't have a chance with me. They need to be professional. I hope it never happens again - we'll see."
