Sunderland boss Gus Poyet is eager to keep emotions in-check for their derby clash with Newcastle United.
Sunday's lunchtime date with Newcastle has now taken on even greater significance, but Poyet is desperate to keep a lid on the emotion by treating the game like any other.
He said: "I don't want to say this is a final. It's about winning a football game. It's a great opportunity, but can we do it? We are certainly going to work very hard this week to make it possible."
