Sunderland boss Gus Poyet would love to keep hold of on-loan Liverpool striker Fabio Borini.
Poyet believes that Borini, who is expected to return to Anfield in the summer, would catch the eye of any top flight manager, given the 22-year-old's attitude and work-rate.
Poyet told the Sunderland Echo: "What a good character Fabio is.
"He's a character that any manager would like to have in his team.
"At the beginning, I remember when I played him and then I couldn't play him. I didn't have words to explain why he wasn't playing.
"But he's a very special character that would be in any XI in any team."
