Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill won't rule out dealing in former Everton attacker James McFadden.

McFadden trained with Sunderland last week, but O'Neill says it is too early to say whether he could stay on Wearside.

O'Neill said: "He has only trained with us for a few days, but it is far too early to make a decision - for either party. He might not fancy it."
