Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is happy to take a gamble on Alfred N'Diaye.

O'Neill has already signed Bursaspor's N'Diaye - despite a bad first impression of the French midfielder.

O'Neill admitted: "I saw him against FC Twente and he didn't play particularly well.

"I kept an eye on him and I think that, for the price, if he shows the same determination he has, then there's only one way for him to go."
