Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is keen to see his kids grab their chance in the Peace Cup in South Korea.
O'Neill has added several youngsters to his travelling squad.
"We're heading off to Korea and we'll take a few of the young lads, which will give us the opportunity to look at them," said O'Neill.
"Even if they don't actually play in the games, because the matches are still important to us and the senior players will take priority, at least they're training with us.
"A few of those lads who were out on loan last season, it would be nice to see what improvements they have made."
