Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is hoping to sign a new striker in the coming days.

The Sunday Sun says O'Neill is keen to bring in a striker before the end of the month, with Swansea's Danny Graham top of his list.

But Swansea will only let the Gateshead-born frontman leave if they can land a replacement, with Stoke's ex-Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones the man they want.

O'Neill said: "We have a number of positions that we would like to fill between now and the end of January."
