Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill was pleased with Louis Saha's debut in their 0-0 draw at Arsenal.

He has impressed from the outset in training and will be pushing for a starting place when Reading visit Wearside next week.

"We can see Louis can play," explained O'Neill to safc.com.

"You can see what he can do. He brings other people into the game - he's got great control.

"We could see that yesterday when he was training but we had confirmation of it today."
