Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is considering Ji Dong-won for loan.

O'Neill admits the South Korean striker may be released on loan, once any incoming recruitment during the January transfer window is concluded.

"There have been a number of inquiries about not only Ji, but a number of our players," he said.

"If there was a possibility of a loan spell, I will give it some consideration although I can't really consider that at the minute until we look to see what we might be able to do with in-coming players."
