Sunderland boss David Moyes invited journalists to the training ground yesterday.

The Daily Star says Moyes allowed journalists to stand on the touchline as he put his players through their paces during an 80 minute session at the Academy of Light.

The press are rarely, if ever, given such an in depth insight, with most managers preferring to keep them at arms length and their training sessions private.

But despite Sunderland's terrible start to the season Moyes was happy to allow his training ground methods to be scrutinised.
