Sunderland boss David Moyes is convinced they're now over the worst this season.
A fourth win in five games at Swansea today would lift the Black Cats out of the relegation zone for the first time since August.
“I don't think we'll ever be back to square one because we've given ourselves a chance," Moyes said. “We clinging on to other teams now.
“I felt that going into January we had to be in with a shout and a lot of teams are now closer to us.
“For a month or two, we didn't look as if we had a chance but we'll go into this game positive and with a good attitude.
“I know that a defeat can change the whole mood but if anyone had said to us a month or so ago that we'd win three out of four, you have said 'Wow'.
“So we're on nearly top-of-the-league form and I can tell from the players' training that we'll have a chance.
“The longer we keep this run going, the better, but if this one ends then we've got to find a way of starting the next one."
