Sunderland boss David Moyes can see Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney returning to Everton.
The Scot was the man who sold Rooney from the Toffees to Manchester United back in 2004.
Moyes said: “My feeling is there is only one other club Wayne would play for in the Premier League, and that's Everton.
"He's been a brilliant Manchester United player and given everything for them. But he's an Everton supporter and I think Everton are now in a position where they could take a deal like that on.
“Wayne is incredibly close to the club. Whatever he decides will be for the best of him and his family. He's 31 and has had a brilliant career, but I think he could play on and on, if he wants to."
