Sunderland boss Roy Keane is chasing SEVEN more signings after this week's capture of Tottenham midfielder Teemu Tainio.
"I'm convinced he'll be the first of many in the next week or so, hopefully it will set the ball rolling.
"If we can get six or seven players in I'll be delighted. As I've said, this is a big summer for everyone connected with the club.
"We need a stronger squad. You just have to look at the problems we had last year, losing Carlos, Deano and Kieran, we were up against it right from the start. We don't want to be in that situation again.
"It's a case of watch this space at the moment, the club is working very hard to push through the deals."
