Sunderland boss Keane remains hopeful over Man Utd's Evans

Sunderland boss Roy Keane remains hopeful of a deal for Manchester United defender Jonny Evans.

The Guardian says Keane hopes United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will either sell him Evans or allow the centre-half to embark on a third long-term loan at the Stadium of Light but he has explored contingency options.
