Sunderland boss Roy Keane has given the green light for young striker Roy O'Donovan to move away on-loan next season.

The Journal says O'Donovan is one of a number of the Black Cats' younger players who Keane believes would benefit from a season of first-team football. And with his chances of starting regularly under threat if Sunderland strengthen their squad this summer, a loan deal would make sense for a player of his potential.
