Sunderland boss Roy Keane admits he's facing a dilemma over whether to release more of his top kids for loans.
The likes of Jordan Henderson, Jack Colback, David Meyler and Michael Kay have impressed for the reserves this season, and no doubt attracted the attention of the scouts.
"We've had plenty of calls about our younger players but with the reserves doing so well - we have a nice group there - we don't want to be sending too many out," Keane told the club's website.
"Waggy [Martyn Waghorn] was a hard one, really, because we think he's close to getting involved with the first team.
"But when the opportunity came up, I thought about it, spoke to the player, and decided it was a good opportunity for him to get some games under his belt, it's the same with Micky Liddle.
"These lads will get League experience and come back stronger, wiser and better.
"They are playing for a fantastic club in Sunderland but you can't beat playing Football League games, they will also appreciate what they have here."
