Sunderland boss Keane in new Fergie snub

Sunderland boss Roy Keane has delivered his old boss Sir Alex Ferguson an amazing snub.

Last week the Sunderland supremo claimed that Ferguson was a hypocrite for criticising players for their lack of respect for referees.

The Manchester United manager has since been charged by the FA for his comments on Martin Atkinson's handling of their FA Cup defeat to Portsmouth.

And Keane delivered an amazing snub to Fergie when asked which of his rival bosses had been of help to him.

He told the People: "They have all been very good. They have all been excellent - Arsene Wenger, Rafa Benitez, Martin O'Neill. They have all been very helpful, I have to say.

"What you find with these managers is that they're very keen to help you out as a young manager giving you advice.

"They give you advice without realising it, just from having general chit-chat."
