Sunderland boss Keane keeping chequebook open

Sunderland boss Roy Keane admits he wants one more signing before tomorrow's transfer deadline.

"There will possibly be one more, we're working on one more," said Keane. "That was not a reflection from the other night, we've been saying all summer that the squad is not strong enough.

"With the four injuries from last week, it is clearly not strong enough to cope, and that's not necessarily against Luton, but against anybody, and that was shown.

"We were always on the lookout for a few defenders and there will maybe be one more player.

"But we might have left it too late, we're not sure. Other than that I don't think too much is happening."
