Sunderland boss Roy Keane is banking on Andy Cole bringing on the development of exciting striker Kenwyne Jones.

Keane said: "Kenwyne has made an immediate impression at topflight level even though he still has a bit to learn and his attitude has been tremendous. He has good individual ability and a strong character but he is also proving to be a very good team player.

"But he will benefit from having a hugely talented and experienced player like Andy Cole in the squad. Watching how Cole and fellow countryman Dwight Yorke operate will make him a better player."
