Sunderland boss Roy Keane says he would be interested in managing the Republic of Ireland one day, but only after a clear-out at the FAI.
Keane was scathing about the selection process to find a new manager, claiming the 100-plus day wait for a new boss has not surprised him.
"That's typical FAI," he said. "Why do we need three men on a panel to choose the manager?
"I'd be interested in the Ireland job, but it would have to be in a few years' time and they'd all have to go, the whole of the FAI."
