Sunderland boss Roy Keane has told the club's FA Youth Cup heroes they'll get their first team chance.

Sunderland face Manchester City in the FA Youth Cup semis tonight and Keane said: "At any successful club you tend to find that success comes across the board. If you have got a good youth set-up then it usually follows that the reserves are also doing well and that filters up into the first team.

"I have made no secret of the fact that I am a big believer in the importance of the youth set-up and it is nice to see our young players doing so well. Certainly there are a few who are not too far away from the first team.

"We have already given Martyn Waghorn a couple of games for the first team and there are three or four who are not far away which is great for them and the club."
