Sunderland boss Roy Keane is confident his former Spurs players will stand up and be counted today at White Hart Lane.

Pascal Chimbonda, Steed Malbranque and Teemu Tainio all joined Sunderland from Tottenham this summer.

Finland midfielder Tainio looks set to miss today's clash with a thigh problem.

Keane insisted: "The lads who have come from Spurs have nothing to prove.

"Hopefully they'll not get bogged down by the fact they are at their old club. They are good players and hopefully that will shine through."
