Sunderland boss Roy Keane has been reflecting on his halftime showdown with Djibril Cisse last week which led to him scoring the winning goal against Blackburn.
He told the Sunday Sun: "I don't go putting my arms around players all the time. Djib reacted the way I thought he would last weekend and it was great that he went on to score the winning goal.
"He's the opposite kind of person to me - he does the fashion shoots, likes the clothes and everything. But what matters is that you do it out on the pitch, and he does that.
"The big thing for me is that when Djib came here he felt he had something to prove.
"Despite being an international player who has played for big clubs and won trophies, I still think there is something hanging over him where he thinks 'I need to do a bit more'.
"If Djib gets 12 or 15 goals for us then that will be a good return - especially considering our leading scorer last season got seven.
"If we thought that Kenwyne Jones and Djib could get 30 goals between them, what a difference that would make to our season. We only scored 36 goals all last season!"
