Sunderland boss Keane admits relegation dog-fights not for him

Sunderland boss Roy Keane admits he's likely to walk away from management if he cannot be challenging for trophies.

"I suppose that management becomes like a drug, doesn't it," Keane told the Sunday Sun. "You become addicted to it. But I think it's a lot easier when you are winning trophies and you're near the top.

"When you look at managers who are constantly in the Championship or in the bottom half of the Premier League, you do ask yourself why they do it.

"I suppose they always believe they can turn things round wherever they are working. But you certainly don't want to be in relegation dogfights.

"I don't think I'd be a manager for 30 or 40 years if that was the case. I want to be challenging for and winning trophies."
