Sunderland boss Roy Keane admits he's always been a big fan of Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole.

West Ham beat Manchester United to land Cole as a teenager and Keane revealed: "Joe has come on in leaps and bounds. I liked him a lot more than Frank (Lampard) at West Ham because he's probably naturally more gifted. We've known since he was a kid how skilful Joe is, but he's worked on being more of a team player.

"He looks tougher and that is credit to Jose Mourinho."
