Sunderland boss Paolo di Canio is non-committal over Lee Cattermole's future.

The Sun says Cattermole is set to be shown the Sunderland exit door by boss Di Canio.

The ex-Black Cats skipper, 25, has not been given his regular No 6 shirt for the new campaign.

Asked if he had a future, Di Canio said: "We'll see."
