Sunderland boss Paolo di Canio admits he needs two more signings.
Di Canio has already brought in 10 new players but admits he is still searching for a midfield playmaker as well as a left-sided defender.
Ahead of his side's season opener against Fulham tomorrow, Di Canio said: "If there is a chance then one or two more would be welcome and the club are working on this. I'm happy up front and at the back and I'm happy in the middle, but we miss something."
