Sunderland boss Paolo di Canio named three youngsters to his squad for defeat at Tottenham.

Scott Harrison, Adam Mitchell and David Ferguson all travelled down to London with the senior team.

Defensive pair Harrison and Ferguson arrived from Darlington last year, while winger Mitchell has come through the Sunderland youth system.
