Sunderland boss David Moyes admits he has Scotland ambitions.
He watched his country take just one point from the recent World Cup qualifiers with Lithuania and Slovakia, a 3-0 defeat by the latter leading to calls for Gordon Strachan to quit as manager.
"The first thing I'd say is that Gordon is doing as best he can with what is available," said Moyes.
'Unfortunately, that's what I think. Scotland is my country and I've supported them and followed them since a boy, but with what is available to Gordon it is very difficult for him to do much more.
"He's trying to get the best out of them and Gordon, for me, is still the right man.
"I'd never say never to managing in Scotland in the future. It's always something which I would definitely keep open."
