Sunderland boss David Moyes has cooled talk of interest in free agent Emmanuel Adebayor.

Moyes says he is not looking to bring the ex-Manchester City and Arsenal forward to the Stadium of Light.

Asked by the Sunderland Echo whether there is interest in Adebayor, Moyes said: "No.

"I didn't see it being what we wanted at the moment."
